In addition to wearing a mask as a personal protective equipment, it is also recommended to wear a mask outside of work when viruses are abundant. For example, in crowded indoor spaces, public transport, shopping malls, health and welfare facilities.

When using disposable protective masks, make sure that the mask is fitted correctly. A mask that meets all standards, but is incorrectly fitted or used incorrectly, does not provide the necessary protection.

It is correct if:

  • you always put on the protective mask with clean hands – wash your hands and/or use an antiseptic
  • the lighter side of the disposable protective mask is always against the face
  • regardless of which way the folds are, place the nose clip on the nose and adjust it around the nose
  • make sure the protective mask covers the nose, mouth and chin
  • if you wear glasses at the same time, always place the glasses on the protective mask so that the breath cannot fog up the glasses
  • remove the used mask after about 2-3 hours or immediately if it has become damp or wet
  • after removal, throw away the protective mask and clean your hands again.
